Member, Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission, 1987-89. Member, Court of Appeals Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure, 1987-89; Executive Committee, Maryland Judicial Conference, 1990-93; Judicial Ethics Committee, 1990.

Born in Easton, Maryland, June 23, 1936. Attended Easton public schools; The Bolles School, Jacksonville, Florida; University of Maryland. Served in U.S. Army, 1956-58. Virginia Polytechnic Institute, B.S., 1964; Tulane University School of Law, LL.B., 1965. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1966. Member, American and Maryland State Bar Associations; Talbot County Bar Association (past president).
