CONSTITUTION OF MARYLAND

ARTICLE VII

SUNDRY OFFICERS.

SECTION 1.169 The County Commissioners of each county not governed by Article XI-A of this Constitution may be elected by the voters of commissioner districts established therein, or by the voters of the entire county, or by a combination of these methods of election, as provided by the General Assembly by law.

SEC. 2.170 The number, compensation, and powers and duties of the County Commissioners of each county not governed by Article XI-A of this Constitution shall be such as now are or may be hereafter prescribed by law.
