Born in Baltimore, Maryland, July 18, 1945. Attended Howard County Senior High School; Western Maryland College, B.A., 1967. Employed in real estate and mortgage banking. Member, Howard County Democratic State Central Committee, 1978-82. Delegate, Democratic Party National Convention, 1996. Board of Directors, Howard County Association of Retarded Citizens; Howard County Housing Alliance; Greater Howard County Chamber of Commerce, 1976-82 (president, 1980). Member, Howard County General Hospital Advisory Board. Four children.
